Health Prep Tips

3. IV Therapy Preparation & After-Care

General guidelines for all drips

  • • Hydrate well the day before and the morning of treatment good hydration improves infusion efficiency.
  • • Eat a light meal two hours beforehand; avoid heavy or greasy foods.
  • • Wear loose, comfortable clothing that allows easy IV access.
  • • Session length: most infusions last 30–90 minutes; plan your day accordingly.
  • • Post-infusion: continue drinking water, avoid alcohol for 24 hours, and resume regular activity unless advised otherwise.
  • IV therapy is generally safe for adults 18 +, but it is not recommended during pregnancy or nursing; please discuss any chronic conditions with your provider first.

4. During Your Appointment

  • Your clinician reviews medical history and goals, performs required exams, and explains all recommended treatments.
  • Additional tests (labs, imaging, body-composition scans) may be ordered the same day.
  • You’ll receive a written visit summary, follow-up plan, and direct contact for questions.

5. After Your Visit

  • 1. Follow-up visits can be booked at checkout or by phone.
  • 2. Lab results are typically available within 5–7 business days;we contact you by phone or email to review them.
  • 3. Ongoing support: Non-urgent questions are answered within 24 hours via WhatsApp or email.
